I have a DV2500 HP laptop,and it has gone on the blink.HP told me to order Recovery CDs to get it back up and running,but to no advail the recovery CDs when finished gave a message fail in (VideoLog).Then HP told me to order new hard drive,also did that and run recovery CDs again.When finished message still saying the recovery failed in (VideoLog).Could this problem be due to a bad batch of recovery CDs from HP?I also ran the Self help test for the Hard drive and all test passed.Can anyone tell me what can be wrong with my laptop.
