4850x2 picking up 1gb

HEY, my 4850x2 is only reading as 1gb card in CRYSIS and crysis warhead, cant see other games. it should be two as its not like the old 3870x2

Did you get the 4850x2 2GB version? Only that reads as 1GB (1GB per card).

The regular 4850x2 1GB should read as 512mb per card

Actually, I should've asked earlier but how are you reading the video memory ingame?

1. the benchmark shows how much RAM you have on the GPU?

2. If you have the 2GB version, then it is normal. It is 1GB per card, 2GB total.

3. If you had a previous Nvidia card on the same computer, you need to download specialized driver cleaning software (ie. drive sweeper) to get rid off all the Nvidia driver info. (regular uninstall doesn't remove stuff deep in the registry, etc)
