I'm looking to buy a gaming computer for the $900-1100 price range. I've read so many conflicting opinions but I basically need two things:

 

WHERE should I buy this computer?
WHAT computer would you recommend?

 

I've heard the i7 920 is the way to go but I haven't found many computers on places like Newegg that interest me.

 

Please help!

In that price range, you are best off with an i5 750 and an HD5850 video card. Since you apparently won't be building it yourself, you might try a vendor that allows you to specify the components you want. CyberpowerPC is one such vendor:

Make sure you include the screen size and RESOLUITON you will be gamin at. It's important.
