After disk manager booting from dvd rom (SATA DRIVE) it says cdrom not found Why

Hello,
I am using SATA HP DVD writer.
While installing a new hard disk and do partitioning, I am using seagate disk manager bootable disk.
After booting from the said dvd writer, everything is perfectly done, but finally my dvd writer could not be accessed. What is the reason? can you please help me to solve the problem.
