Anyone have any thoughts about which DVD recorder you would buy?

I tried a Lite-On* - had big problems playing discs it burned on any
of my other players, bought a Pioneer - its discs play on all three of
my other players.
I have no knowledge of the other machines you mentioned.

* I was really disappointed in the Lite-On, I have 2 of their cd
burners which are solid as a rock.

I also read some other negative user comments on CNET.

I just found out there's a newer Panasonic model, the DMR-ES10S, that's
at Best Buy and Circuit City for $199. I'll probably buy that one, but
I'll check out the Pioneer, too.

I also have a 52x Lite-On CD-RW in my PC that's been great.
