Hi guys, I've torn my hair out looking for a solution to an issue with my current onboard sound chip making a buzzing noise in various games and programs. I've given up. I want to put a seperate card in now. All I want is something that has solid drivers under Win7 & Vista, I know a few years back creative drivers were a real problem. Have they sorted themselves out now? Who are the other players to look at?

FYI I'm driving a 2.1 speaker / sub system. I'm not looking for a top end audio mixing/ editiong suite solution, just the basics really :-)
Under £30 ($50) ideally.
