Hi all.

i just got myself a AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition processor. the problem is windows 7 Build 7100 only detects 2 of the processors cores. Task manager only has 2 performance graphs and its certain as Cpu Z only detects 2 cores aswell. how do i fix this? is it something to do with my bios version??
i have a GA-MA770-UD3 motherboard that is bios version "FA"
on the gigabyte support list it shows the AMD Phenom II 955 requires version "FF" or "FD"

so yeah, this maybe fix it ? anyone got an idea?

gah forget it... my bios version is most likely the problem so ill update it.

lol, so i updated my bios just to find out that windows 7 was limiting the processor to two cores... had to untick "number of processors" in msconfig / boot / advanced tab...

what a pain in the arse.
