Dont get an 11 series seagate, they had a firmware issue, get either a 12 series or a WD caviar black.

My only comment is that you should look into the AMD Phenom 955 for futureproofing your build. The only problem with your LGA 775 board is that Intel will no longer be supporting the board at least not much longer according to everything I read. Or you could look into a i7 920 if you have an extra few hundred to spend.

The only reason I going with the LG775 & the Seagate 11 is the good combo deal from New Egg.

I should still get support from Intel until the warranty runs out, correct?

yeah but you can get a much better gaming build for basically the same amount if you go with AMD and you will have the option of improving your CPU in the future without having to build a whole new system

I had the AMD Phenom 955 originally but saw the combo. There is a $40 differences between the two. What do you think about MoBo & Ram?

The 955 will beat out the 8200 easily, its performance is on par with the 9550.

Also just click the submit button once, then return to the main forum and click on the new system build subforum link. Dont refresh after your post or it will double post. I have been opening each thread in a new tab and just closing it once i have posted. Unfortunately the forum does this periodically.
