Low WEI Numbers?

I just built my PC last night and my HDD is only getting a 5.9 in WEI while everything else gets above 7. Is this normal? The HDD is a Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s. Also, when I was extracting a large zip file, it was only transferring data at about 19.2 MB/s. Seemed a little low for the HDD I have. This is my first build so I may be missing something obvious. Thanks.

Nothing to worry about on you WEI score. A mechanical drive will not score above a 5.9 on the benchmark.

I won't worry about the transfer rate, it doesn't jump out to me as an issue.

Yep, tecmo is right on. Even a V. Raptor will not score over a 5.9. You'll need a SSD to get over the 5.9 hurdle. The WEI is overrated for the most part, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to it.
