Hello, and thank you for answering my post.

I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong spot to post this tread.

Anyway, may guestion is kind of complicated.

I just purchased the intel i5 Quad-Qore Processor.

I also purchased an after market Heatsink.

Here is my question: I wont be over clocking my CPU. The primary use of it will be for gaming at MAX GAME Settings! so if i am just gaming with no OC'ing, do i need to replace the stock heat sink, with another one?

It's always better to keep the CPU as cool as possible for longer life. While the OE HSF should work fine even in games, since you bought an aftermarket HSF, I'd use it if you can. Your CPU will thank you. :D

Alright thanks for your answer. :)

I definitely will use the After market CPU cooler.
