So I was wondering, will these parts be compatible with each other, do you guys recommend something else ( something that is not more expensive than these parts)

Oh, and I do NOT intend to overclock!

CPU: PhenomII X4 940

Video: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 260 Synergy Edition

RAM: PATRIOT Signature PSD22G8002H DDR2 (240) 2GB PC6400 800MHz CL5 RADIATOR
( I'll put another 2gb ram later)

HDD: 500 GB SEAGATE, 7200RPM, SATAII, 32MB/ NCQ, BARRACUDA 7200.11

Power supply: SEASONIC SS-500ET, 500W, 12CM FAN, ACTIVE PFC, 80PLUS

I dun think NF 520 has BIOS update to run Heka/Deneb so if u looking for an SLIable mobo with 940BE you'd be looking at socket AM2+/DDR2 750/780a chipsets What is your budget and any reused existing hardware as we could help ya out better ^^

Edit: It does support albeit with HT 2.0 and on PCIex16 gen 1.0 ^^

I'd recommend an AM2+ or AM3 mobo though if starting afresh

tkz for the info... I don't want to switch to ddr3, it's kind of the same thing as ddr2... from what I've heard...

Well with some nice combos one could land a top of the line AM3/DDR3 chipset at around 700ish hehe
