So i need help choosing a monitor, and i need links to stores that sell the i7 920 D0 stepping and the 4890 atomic, since newegg doesent have it. Oh, i also need help choosing an optical drive, blue-ray, i dont know much about optical drives, thats the thing.

Any suggestions to the HD or memory? Not so sure if they're the right ones. I forgot what heatsink i was gonna get too...lol

I was reading somewhere on the antec 1200 comments that you could get extra fans for it, is that true?
Ill post annything else if i forgot something...which i probably did

You dont need 1000 watts unless you want to do 3 way crossfire, switch it out for one of these two

The HX saves you $16 the TX saves you $61

I also cannot find the 4890 atomic, i dont think they can produce them fast enough to keep up with demand but this one comes pretty close and comes with a lifetime warranty.

i was gonna go with 4890 CF, damn i was that atomic so badly, no wonder its sold out lol

What resolution are you going to be playing at? I would really just suggest getting 1 4890 for now, if that doesnt do it for you then get a second or hold out until october and get a 5870 which will beat 4890's Crossfired handily.

for the i7, there's a >90% chance that you'll get a D0 if you order today.

ideally, go to a local microcenter and buy one as it will save you $80.

If you have a microcenter nearby you can get it for 200 until thursday and can ask for D0 stepping, if not the only way to guarantee it is to buy from a site like this one

kk, imma go to a microcenter in a day or two then, how do you check if its a D0 stepping? What does the product number look like, or anything, do you have to open up the package and check?

Reply to computernewbie

You don't have to open the package to see what stepping it is. It will have a code on the box. Like was mentioned above, SLBEJ is the D0 stepping. SLBCH is the code on the box for the older stepping.
