In my opinion as form motherboard I would go with the foxconn the graphics is a hard decision but for your computer the gtx 275 would probably run best because it seems nvidia runs very well with intel btw- what res are you running at and the psu with that kind of build and if your going sli definatley go with the 720 watt. Hope this helps any questions just ask.

Foxconn seemed like a good board for the price. It dpends on the game what resolution and if I'm gaming hardcore I try to turn it down a bit so I get the best advantage I can. If I'm playing against computers I turn up all the settings so it is playable but nice eye candy. I was thinking watt because I may go sli someday. Especially if the 275s come down in price.

well as with all computer hardware the gtx 275 will be 100 dollars within a year! Haha pretty sad actually for what you pay when they come out. So its always a huge factor for me when I build a pc what the future will bring. I hope your computer turns out good and that it kicks ass!!

Thanks for $100 bucks I'll rock two of those in a year. Heck if it drops down to 50 I'll do that. The Foxconn board is the only thing I worry about in this rig, since I have never bought any of their products. I typically stick with Asus. I hear the only difference in the GTI version is the dual network ports, wasn't sure why I would really want that in a home network...

Ok so I have finally finished reading and delaying my order. I'm placing my order now. This is what I decided on:

CPU:
i7 920 DO stepping
Cooler:
Scythe Mugen 2 one extra fan
Mobo:
Asus Rampage II Gene
Memory:
Corsair XMS3 DDR31600 7-7-7-20
HD:
640GB Western Digital Caviar Black
Graphics:
BFG 275GTX oc2
Case:
CM HAF922 all fan slots filled
PSU:
Antec Earthwatts EA750

I have overclocked an i7 920 on an asus p6t/oc palm build. How much different is this setup any pointers?
