I have been interested in overclocking but don't have a lot of experience doing so, with the set up i have does anyone have any setting suggestions i could start with in BIOS or maybe a tutorial link that would be similar to my hardware? I recently tried the ASUS turboV software and that was a joke it made everything unstable. I recently updated my bios to version 2004 from version 0209. I would like to see a higher RAM frequency and a significant GHz increase. Being that i only have air flow cooling is it even safe for me to run a significant overclock without some aftermarket cooling?

Note*( when i tried the TurboV software i was running off of a really old version of BIOS, would the update bring different results, or would i still be better off overclocking from BIOS?)

OC will safe if do from Bios
Keep the CPU voltage as low as possible to get a high clock or try without adding voltage you can get a higher clock speed
