No. For the same price, you can get a better AMD triple core or even a quad core + an AMD motherboard.

Intel's E6300 Dual Core series hasn't dropped in price since they came out, so it's a rip off right now. I myself bought a E5300 (2.6GHz) and OCed it - at the cost of $72...but that was months ago.
