If this is the Microsoft USB wireless adapter, it's an old wireless B standard model.

If you can't find a driver and given that it probably only supports the rather insecure WEP wireless security, you might be better off buying a new adapter. You may not gain any speed, but the wireless G model will support WPA which is safer and simpler to set up.

This adapter DOES support WPA.

The drivers are located here if you lost your cd:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=33104

To get it working on Windows 7, just run the extraction wizard, extract it to the desktop.

The wizard will fail to complete because it doesn't detect Windows XP.

Navigate to where you unziped the files and run the setup.exe, possibly in XP compatibility mode (properties -> compat. tab)

This works for me, however it requires the MS Broadband networking utility to be running. Just ignore it, hide it in tray and use windows 7 built in wireless.

additionally, having had to work with this adapter (i know it is old) you can install drivers only without installing the MS Broadband networking utility for Windows 7.

I can't attach the file, but the driver you want is named "mn510_100.exe"

run this in windows 7 with compatibility mode (properties --> compat. tab) for xp service pack 3

viola, mn-510 running perfectly in windows 7 with no ms broadband networking utility.
