I was under the impression that any ATX motherboard would fit in any case. However, I bought this motherboard and it did not fit in my case (an old Dell one). I don't really mind this, as I was probably going to replace the case anyway, but it's made me a little wary, and I just wanted to ensure that this motherboard would fit fine in the case I'm planning to buy, this one. Can anyone assuage my fears here?
Also, if anyone has alternative case suggestions in a similar price range (I don't care about LEDs, being able to see inside or any other bells and whistles like that though so I figure just about any case will do as long as everything fits), I'd appreciate it.
Yeah it will fit fine, the issue with the dell case was likely due to the fact that dells tend to use BTX motherboards and 99.9% of motherboards available are ATX which will not come close to fitting on BTX mounting screws.

The Dell case has the screw holes? You are just suggesting that he moves the posts, right?
