Is more cache faster?

Hi all,

I'm on the brink of preparing an order for the spinpoint f3.
I noticed that the 500 Gb has 16 G cache and the 1TB has 32 GB cache.
Does that make the 1TB more efficient/ faster?

It'll be used mainly for the OS and all my games.

Those caches should be in MB

The cache size will be negligible in any performance differences between drives.
