3tb HDD error

Hello i recently brought a 3tb Hitachi HDS723030ALA640 and was anaware of the problems of running a 3tb drive. Its in MBR so it only reads 2tb leaving 750gb in an unallocatable state. Ive tried converting it to gpt but because its a boot drive i cant do it. I also tried connecting another HDD to boot from so i could clean the 3tb one and convert it but the other HDD reads but when trying to boot it bluescreens , restarts and repeat sorry for long post but im stuck

Well it sounds like you have two issues which are possibly unreleated to each other. I'd suggest addressing them separately.

Physically disconnect that 3TB and boot into the other drive. What does the BSOD say?
