My own switch broke on my presario computer and it has no power switch on the back. How can I get it started. My husband found two wires and was using that but now nothing works. Can you help me please.

where teh button was there shoulld be something like a simple open circuit where u have to push this one thing to a wire, try that

Does your Presario have a reset switch as well as the on switch?
You could switch the wires around and use the reset switch as the on switch.

Or you could use a wire or paperclip across the two pins on the motherboard where the case wires plug in. Check the labels on the motherboard and in the manual.
