Hey fellow AMD users/pc enthusiasts out there!
So, I recently put together my system (well upgraded a few parts) and right now I'm sitting with:
asus m4a78 pro mobo
amd phenom ii 955 be (oc'd to 3.4ghz, need a better cooler so I can get 3.6 ghz or even 3.8)
patriot ddr2 p6400 800mhz 2x2gb memory 4-4-4-12
EVGA Nvidia GTS 250 1gb ddr3
650w antec psu
WD 1tb sata 7200 rpm 32mb cache hdd
So, My next upgrade I had planned was a Scythe MUGEN-2 SCMG-2000 cooler for my cpu, and an Asus ATI Radeon HD 5850.
I was hoping somebody can help me out and let me know what will be bottlenecking me here? Will my RAM be too slow? My ht and nb/cpu is only 2000mhz respectively..
Right now I use my pc to play games like crysis, and for games soon to come out like Diablo 2, starcraft 2, dragons age, etc.. All high end games for the most part..
So is my RAM speed/bandwidth a problem for me? Or can I upgrade to a radeon 5850 and a beefier cooler and run my pc at 3.6 ghz (or 3.8ghz maybe) with my p6400 ram and be bottleneck free or at least minor bottlenecking..?
Thanks guys!
