Can anyone suggest which Intel processor is best-for flight sim

i would assume the i9 since fsx loves cores, but being that it hasn't been released I cannot say for certain.

Well for Flight sims, the more core's you have the better the game will run.

for cpus if you can wait for the core i9 to be released in Q1 or Q2 of 2010 then i would say this cpu.

If not then the core i7.

Core i9 (Engineering samples specs (may change when closer to release)).

2.4 GHz

6 cores / 12 threads (2 threads per core)

12 MB level 3 cache (shared between all cores)

Cost: $1,000 when its first released.



Core i7

2.66 to 3.3 ghz

4 cores / 8 threads

8 MB level 3 cache

Cost: from $300 to $1000
