HI BEFORE SOME MONTHS BEFORE 4 MONTHS I BOUGHT GTX 295 BUT I AM AFRAID THAT THIS CARD WHICH I HAVE NOW IT WILL NOT LAST ME FOR ONE FROM NOW
BECAUSE IT WILL COME DIRECT ` 11 AND THE NEW CARDS WITH DIRECT 11 AND PC GAMES WITH DIRECT 11
SO I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS

WILL MY GTX 295 HOLD ME FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS ;;;;;;;;;
HOW MANY GAMES WILL COME IN THIS YEAR WITH DIRECT 11;;
WILL MY CARD WILL HAVE ALL THE FEATURES OF DIRECT 11;;
WILL MY GTX 295 HOLD FOR 2 YEARS FOR THE PC GAMES;;
WHAT IT WILL HAPENN WHEN THE NEW CARDS WITH DIRECT 11 WILL ARIVE;;; AGAINST MY GTX 295;;;

GTX 295 is very powerful and will support a hand full of DX11 features but not all. All DX11 games will play on older hardware they just might not play as smoothly or have one or 2 features. As well most comes with come out with a DX10 and a DX11 mode the same as 9 and 10 have now days. Until it becomes more standard in a year or two.

It will be sometime before many DX11 games come out anyways. You still see a few here and there but it will be a while. That card will last you two years just fine.

It isn't a matter of money it is a matter of time it takes to make the games. They have however been working on them for longer then we have know 11 was coming out. There will be come games out this year but not many, And the reason to buy cards is so you have them when games do come out. Not only that but it is simply time for new cards anyways, new cards come out ever 6 months or so, these were likely coming out with or without Direct X 11.

There is no reason to get a new card unless you just really want to. You card will easily last 2 or 3 years.

If you are so worried then get a cheaper card right now.Something like 4870 or GTX260.

Later when dx11 cards get cheaper then you can upgrade.
Or wait a month or upgrade.

to answer all your questions at once dx10 cards will be ok for a long time there aint even that many dx10 games out the 295 should hold strong for 2 yrs maybe more

through pattern what was the top graphics card 3 yrs ago ? the 8800 gtx right its still a very decent card these days 2 yrs ago it was the 9800x2? it is still one of the top cards still this day

we already answered you that the 295 will last for a LEAST 2 years but more likely 3 to 4. It will play DX11 games but without all the full features not stop posting the same thing over and over.

There will not be a big difference between 10 and 11.

There will not be more than 3 or 4 games that use DX11 in 2010, and even then you will still be able to play them at near max settings.

If someone has a GTX 275, 285, or 295 they will be fine with DX11 games.

Please for the love of god stop posting now

Don't worry about this direct x matter.

GTX 295 will easily handle all the games at high for at least two years.

If I was in place of you I have kept it for 4-5 years.

If you are so worried about your money then the best thing for you is to buy mid range cards and upgrade them every year.

When DX10 came did all the DX9 cards disappeared from the market?

Don't worry about Direct x business.
Worry about DDR3 memory,Shaders,clock speeds etc etc which really matter while buying a video card.

And I have alredy said if you are afraid/worried to put that much of money on a graphic card just get a mid end card so that you can upgrade in short time periods .

Why are you asking same questions again and again.

There are many games that run on dx9 and dx10.So the future games will run on both dx10 nd dx11.


I am repeatedly telling you to buy a cheaper gfx card.But you are giving no response to that.

Otherwise Wait a month,new cards are on their way.

You have already been told 100 times that a gtx 295 will last you three years or more.
So that obviously means you don't have to upgrade.
