Hello!
I'm having a problem with Stereo Mix, in fact, I can't find it at all. I assume the manufacturer has disabled that feature. It's a Cirrus Logic CS4206 sound chip.
So, I was wondering if there's any workaround for this. I've read somewhere that someone plugged in a cable into his mic input and the other end intoline in? Would that work?

Alright, there seems to be no way to get Stereo Mix to work, so I went to the store and bought that mentioned audio cable, connceted one end to the line in/mic jack and the other to the output jack.
Now, when I playback music and choose the Mic as primary device it will stream the music through it, tested it on a chat application. The downside, I can't hear the music myself because it's streaming through the microphone.

So, I've to find a way to get the music playing through my internal speakers as well as the microphone.
Any idea? I seriously am desperate.

As I said, it's disabled by the manufacturer or Apple itself.
Anyway, bypassed it with an mini jack Y-cable and a mini jack cable.
