Does anyone know if there is a sensual rug hack for the sims 2 like the one
in the original sims? There was also a woohoo bed hack that did basically
the same thing. TIA

No - the 3D animations are proving difficult to crack. You'll be waiting a
while. The only thing I have seen in the way of progress is people managing
to attach existing Maxis animations to new objects but there are no new
animations yet or any sign of any. You could try asking at Mod the Sims 2
though I imagine they are being asked all the time so it might be prudent to
search the site first.

There is a woohoo bed hack at mod the sims2.
No sensual rug yet, but there is a mattress that sits on the floor and works
just like a bed.

Neither of these include any new animations though. The first is just a
hack of part of the global coding to allow sims who aren't 'in love' to
woohoo. You can do the same or similar things with other global hacks like
Casual Woohoo (which is fun because it has a percentage chance of an
'accident'). The second, the mattress on the floor is good for student
homes.

Yes, but it is the closest we have right now. And with that one hack I
posted, you can get the one with pregnancy or not.
I had the sensual rug and there was no pregnancy involved with it.

Thanks! You guys are great. Hopefully in the near future someone will get
the animation down for the bed hack. Yes we all are a little perverted with
our sims... LOL.
I have the risky woohoo hack and it works great. Adds a sense of realism to
the game.

Uh huh - You know when the beds and sensual rugs came out for Sims 1, I DL
some of the earliest ones. I used them fairly regularly and at first I
would get them spontaneously producing babies. With the later beds with
more 'sophisticated' animation, it never used to work. I remember the first
time it happened, I went 'Bloody hell .... serves you right!' Ha ha!
Anyway, that's what I like about the Casual Woohoo patch - it means that
their pleasure-seeking can have consequences.

heh, I like the woohoo, but not the preggers in my game, lol.
I HATE the whole pregnancy>baby>toddler bit.

I may be a tad slow here but what is a "risky" woohoo?
Thanks,
Beck.

Woohoo that is risky - normal woohoo can't get someone pregnant but risky
woohoo can, which is more realistic.

I thought that risky woohoo has to do with an aspiration of the sims, as in
the need to have woohoo in public.
Do they have to be married before pregnancy is possible with woohoo?

It's a mod that puts an element of risk into standard woohoo. I think the
odds of pregnancy with 'try for baby' is about 70%, and the odds for
pregnancy with 'woohoo' are 10% with the mod (and 0% without it of course).
Risky Woohoo can even be customised in the odds department so that I keep
mine at 5% (just too many pregnancy's at 10% for my Romance Sims - who are
the ones doing most of the woohooing after all)

No. Pregnancy is limited by number of people in the household (no room at
the inn), whether or not the Sim is a visitor (only selectable Sims can get
pregnant in a house or dormitory)

Casual WooHoo is something different from Risky WooHoo. Casual WooHoo is a
mod that allows less than love sexual relationships depending on the type of
Sims involved (Romance Sims are way more likely to respond to an invite for
Casual WooHoo than Family Sims) and this is further controlled by the
addition of the Romance Mod which affects how different types of Sims
respond to romantic actions (especially in light of if they already have a
romantic attachment to someone else).

Yes, that's right - I've just realised I'm using it with Inteeminator and
it's that hack that has the 10% chance of pregnancy from woohoo. I have the
Romance Mod too.
