No, that's the problem. All I have is a XP Home Edition and my Desktop is a XP PRO FYI- I already tried Geliosa's approach to the problem using my XP Home edition CD.

Sorry Gilliosa's approach......deleted kdcom.dll, replaced and renamed it, etc.
Didn't help, Now I can't even get to the command prompt screen !!!
