So no one knows how to up the voltage on a Radeon 6870?

I've searched everywhere and asked in a couple different forums and still seen no answer. Has no one successfully increased the voltage on their Radeon 6870?
Tried MSIAfterburner, voltage shows unlocked and slider moves but GPUObserver, FurMark, and other benchmarks still show voltage at 1175.
Tried adjusting voltage in RBE and flashing = BSOD.
Tried atiflash to XFX Black Edition BIOS from USB boot = boot and load but blank screen, no video.

Come on people, someone has got to have succeeded in manually increasing their voltage!

if you want to raise the core/memory speeds to their full potential then you usually have to raise the power provided. just like with your cpu, nb, any component. read up.

^Yes, you need to reflash the BIOS and may also need to solder on some connections to allow increased volts to your board. This is called 'volt-modding'...Google it.

i've reflashed many times trying different options to unlock or to just increase the voltage. still stuk at 1.17. tried XFX Black Edition BIOS, windows loaded with audio but i had no video.

Sounds like a bad BIOS setting between clock speeds and ability to handle the voltages with the stock board config. You may have to modify hardware to get what you are looking for.

Not sure, but for me only two programs worked and afterburner didn't for increasing voltage.

For my asus 6850 I use Sapphire trixx to increase the voltage and it works perfectly. Asus smart doctor also worked for me but I don't like that program. Afterburner doesnt work for me in the same way it doesnt for you.
