I'd like to put the four drives in JBOD and created a 12tb space. Any hint on which (cheap please!!) controller could I buy? The host system is a Windows 7 64 bit machine with EFI bios. Instead of JBOD, I would suggest RAID 1 or RAID 0+1, but this would cut the total storage by half. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID resle2 May 27, 2011 3:07:07 AM I solved my problem by creating a spanned disk - no problems so far! Storage dropped from 12tb to 10.9 - totally acceptable. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
