Both of these have 2 Cores,1333FSB,6MB CACHE and 3 GHz,Which is more faster and wats the difference between these cpus,Wats the Latest price of these cpu's?are these two CPU uses LGA775 Socket?

From what I've learnt (I could of been falsely informed) is that the Xeon processors are mainly for servers whereas the E8400 ( I have that too) is made for more consumer applications, such as gaming or media editing. Correct me other posters if I'm wrong.

does It means xeon is more powerfull than e8400?
