I need some tips on a build for a gaming PC that can handle games such as fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead, the problem is my budget, it is only 550 dollars. The reason im asking is due in part because this will be my first time actually building a rig rather than buying one. Another question I have is with my small budget can I make it wireless internet capable, the reason I ask this is because my friends often have LAN parties which use a wireless internet when they play L4D multiplayer or Wow, so can you help me by providing a component list or tips, Thnx.

I'm sorry, but I didn't see any parts that I would use in that build. This build comes in just over $500 and would be a much better machine.

I would highly suggest considering getting 64-bit Vista with a free upgrade coupon to Windows 7 so you can use all 4GB of RAM. You can save $15 if you get the OS in a combo with the case listed above.

This build posted by shortstuff_mt is a very good build, which is why I posted a copy. This is about as good as you can get on your budget. You will need to add a wireless card to your build but can be done at a later time.

This build will suit your needs.
