Intel Core 2Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 MHz, 2.39 GHz, 3GB of Ram

This will be my office machine running Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, photoshop, firefox, opera and outlook at the same time.

Since you mention some Video apps (which tend to support multiple cores better), then I would recommend the Q6600. Neither one are particularly cutting edge any more - capable, sure! But no longer cutting edge.

Q6600 may be an older design, but the extra cores and well known overclocking capabilities make it an easy decision

I'd choose the Q6600.
