Blank Screen After Overclock

Hi Everybody,

Got my new rig last night. 2500K with ASUS P68Pro. Assembled it right away, and turned it on this morning. Then I did the dumb thing. I cranked the multiplier up to 44(I know I should have stepped it up gradually. I didn't plan on running it at that just seeing it on CPUZ. LOL.) Anyway, now the computer will not post. When I turn it on all I get is a blinking cursor at the top left hand side of the screen. Any ideas on what to do next to try and remedy the situation?

reset the bios by using the reset cmos jumper and pray you haven't "popped" the cpu. take the battery out after using the jumper just to be sure that the bios resets.

Is the reset cmos jumper the reset button on the motherboard? What battery? Is that the watch like battery on the motherboard?

What is poping the CPU? It's unlocked and I only put it to 4.4 with no voltage increase. I have a 212 cooler on it, and it did not even post. Its not like I had the stock cooler on it and put it to prime 95 for 4 hours.

it should be fine. I assume taht the reset button works like the older jumpers yeah. and yes the "watch battery" (usually CR2032)
