Hello,

I am everyday user looking to purchase a HPE 150t w/i-5 750. My question is about RAM. It comes w/4GB DDR3 3DIMMS. There is a free upgrade to 6GB DDR3 3DIMMS or I can purchase 8GB DDR3 4DIMMs for $81.
My wife will be doing some video encoding with various home video formats. Is 4DIMMs ok? Should I purchase 8GB, get 6GB for free or stay w/4GB?
Thank You for your attention

4 gig is all you will ever need. But what the heck, 6 gig upgrade for free, might as well do that. Do not spend money buying more.

Thank you I am also looking at a Dell which I could purchase w/ Federal discount
Their RAM is 1066 vs HP 1333? What do you think of that?
What is your opinion of Dell vs HP? I have owned both. My present Dell has held up well but it is now severely technologically challenged. McAfee now runs my PC

Also, I can get Dell w/monitor, 4GB Ram. Dell has 320GB HD vs HP 640GB HD which is ok w/me. Dell has 512 MB NVIDIA G310 vs HP ATI Radeon HD 4350
Video card preference?
I might be leaning towards Dell as I can get what I need w/monitor for same price as HP w/no monitor
Opinion?
