Hey guys,

I'm wondering if my Corsair TX850 would be able to handle overclocking the GPU and CPU. Here's my computer,

Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Full Tower ATX Case

Asus P8Z68-V Pro

Asus EAH6970 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5 AMD Radeon HD 6970

Intel Core i5-2500K

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1333MHz 8GB(2x4)

Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB SATA3 7200RPM 32M Cache

LG Black SATA Lightscribe DVD-Writer 24xDVD+R

Solution
Easily.

TX850 has a70 amp 12 volt rail.

Figure about 10 amps for the CPU. Based on actual measurements while overclocking my Q9550 and Q6600, the overvolting required increased CPU power consumption by about 25%. Figure 15 - 18 amps for the video card. And figure another 100 watts or so for the rest of the system.

I think the total load on the PSU will be around 400 watts, and probably nomore than 450 watts.
