I was wondering what the performance difference is between two 4850s in crossfire with 512MB/1GB RAM.
Is it really worth it going for the 1GB

If you plan on gaming at a high resolution with all the bells and whistles enabled (Anti-Aliasing, high texture settings etc etc...) then you would benefit more from the 1gb CF setup. Otherwise the 512mb cards may run out of VRAM and your FPS will suffer.
