Hi,

i am planning to buy the OCZ Agility 3 SSD. Currently, I have an MSI P55 CD53 motherboard which does not support SATA 3, I believe. If I connect the SSD to a SATA II port, will the performance decrease dramatically? To be precise, will it decrease to 50 % ? Because of 6 gb/s and 3 gb/s . If this is the case, am I better off getting the 2nd series of OCZ SSD's ?
Thank you for your help.

Here is the information:
■Max Read: up to 525 MB/s (SATA 6Gbps); up to 280 MB/s (SATA 3Gbps)
■Max Write: up to 500 MB/s (SATA 6Gbps); up to 260 MB/s (SATA 3Gbps)

It is not quite 50% but close in performance difference. You will still see the same performance with the Vertex 2 drives, so if the price is right... I say get it!!
