ok im just a noob when talking about computers and i saw those 2 processors and read that for a notebook a intel celeron is better than a core 2 duo but i just started wondering which one is better for a notebook???

Celeron is only better for battery life. Core2Duo will smoke performance wise.

For reference, the Celeron was basically a budget Pentium 4. In short, they stink at everything but power consumption.
