Hello,

All of a sudden my Outlook Express 6 won’t send messages immediately; it waits until my next automatic Check Email.

Then it sends the message every time my email is automatically checked unless I manually delete the message from my Outbox. I have tested this by not deleting from my Outbox until 2 or more copies of the message have been sent, which it does without fail.

Even then my deleted sent message is not sent to my Sent box.

Does anyone have the answer how I can fix this so Outlook Express operates normally?

Thank you.

Go to Tools > Options > Send tab. Check off "Send Messages immediately".

Thank you, hang-the-9,

I already had Send Immediately and Save a Copy when my problems began.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
