Dvd drive (virtual and physical) not showing up

Hey, recently my DVD-drive has not been showing up under My Computer. I tried mounting an iso to Daemon tools and get nothing, either. Auto-run does not seem to be working either.

My harddrives are still visible, and usb thumbsticks are visible.



note:
I was flashing a xbox dvd-drive, maybe that had something to do with this? I'm not sure. I put the computer into Test mode, and then put it back.

So I figured out the solution by googling how to DISABLE a drive. Turns out I must have done this without remembering, or used a script that did it for me.

Anyways, I right clicked on Local Disc -> Properties ->hardware

and found my drives. I went into the properties of the drives and 'enabled' them. Am posting this just for reference if anyone happens to find this in the future. This forum looks great, will come back for all my future computer discussions
