My computer died earlier today while I was playing ME2. I tried rebooting it 5 minutes after I killed the power, but I've had no luck. I keep getting the dreaded "2E" message on the LED and there's no picture coming from the video card (it's fan is also running incredibly loud). I've checked all the other threads but none of their solutions seem to work.

MSI 790FX-GD70
AMD Phenom II X3 720
HIS Radeon HD 4890
4GB of G Skill DDR3 1600
650w Cooler Master PSU
Cooler Master HAF 922

No overclocking.
I think my 4890 has died, but I wanted to ask for any suggestions before I send anything back.

Hi thegeeesta, we almost have the same components except for the PSU and the case. Mine is Corsair 620HX and Helios 910.

The video card's fan will run fast & loud until the driver kicks in but it seems that you are not posting at all so the vga's fan will keep on spinning fast. Oddly enough, there is no 2E in the MSI 790FX-GD70 manual... Do you already found out what it means?
