Unable to transfer files to external hard drive

hai every body ,



recently i have got a new 500 gb external hard disk for my laptop. when i transfer data to that, it shows me a message FOLDER ACCESS DENIED ........ AND YOU NEED PERMISSION TO DO THIS .......... can any body help me this on this issue...


please because of this i am facing a lot of problem


i am not able to save my whole data separately or safely

Are you working on a machine managed by someone else? Certain organisations will bar users from installing drivers which could mean that you can't access the disk.
