PASSWORD

I HOPE SOMEBODY CAN ASSIST ME WITH MY SECURITY PASSWORD PROBLEM WITH MY DELL LATITUDE D 830. I AM THE FIRST OWNER AND FOR SECURITY REASONS I PLACED A PASSWORD TO IT. I TRIED TO RESET THE NETWORK CONNECTIONS AT MY OFFICE AND MY LAPTOP REBOOTED AND THEN WHEN I TRIED TO TYPE MY PASSWORD IT DOES NOT GRANT ME ACCESS. WHAT CAN I DO TO RESET EMBASY PASSWORD?

  1. From the looks of it, your Caps Lock is stuck on....
    Try turning it off.

Also, try to come up with a more convincing story next time :pfff:
Resting a network connection will have no effect on passwords.
Maybe ask the owner for the proper password or use the system restore disks?
  2. I agree with outlw6669 your caps lock is stuck.

is it a bios password or windows password?
for windows i may try this
    http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/
  3. RETURN IT TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNER, IM SO SICK OF THESE AND BEGGARS ASKING FOR HELP ON STOLEN PROPERTY!!!!!!!

Hopefully the owner had lowjack on it and the police are on their way to throw you in jail now.
