Confusing DDR3 Speeds (1600mhz showing as 667)

Hey guys, I recently got a new motherboard and a new ram stick.
Mobo: Asus P5E3 Deluxe. it does support DDR3 1600mhz.
Memory: 1 2GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9

I check on kingston.com for my proper speeds for this little guy I bought.
Latency Timings: 9-9-9-27
Voltage: 1.6 to 1.9


Other info:
I have a Intel C2Q Q6600 running at 3.0Ghz. overclocked with settings the CPU Miltiplier to x8 and then the FSB to 375 or something.

How do I get my Ram to run at 1600mhz without interfering with my CPU clock speeds?

Manually set the timings in your BIOS.
