Second Hard Drive

Hello,

I was running out of space on my hard drive so I bought a new one. A Hitachi 1TB. I'm running windows 7 home premium, 32 bit. I physically installed it into my computer, but it's not showing up under my computers storage devices. However, when I turn on my computer, a message pops up saying press CNTL - I to see Raid options.

I just want to be able to write to both hard drives because I'm running out of space. What do I do?

You need to format it and assign it a drive letter.

Click on Windows Help and type "format drive" in the box. Follow instructions.

Do that and make sure in your setup menu (press f2 before the computer loads if your using windows) that the slot you put it in is activated.
