Photoshop 7 Will Not Exec

Hello,

My 10 yr old PS 7 suddenly will not exec displaying err msg my personal data is ether missing or clobbered. Recently had problems with trogan and I deleted a number of files.
Cant locate my PS 7 install CD to reinstall. Using Windows Xp and it appears all PS 7 support files are in tact. Is there a solution? Ciro

Did you delete the files manually? You probably took some user files that are needed with those.

You'll probably need to re-install the program to get it working again. Most programs keep user files in the user profile, under Application Data or Local Settings. A virus could easily replace or delete those files, or you could have when trying to clean it out. The only way to get the files back is a re-install the program, or get another copy from another computer.
