Simple question:
What's the cheapest sound card available to hook up to a geforce 9xxx so that I can have audio and video out via hdmi? There isn't an spdif connector on my motherboard, so I guess I just have to get a cheap PCI card that'll do the trick. This will be connected direct to my tv, so I only really need stereo, 5.1/7.1 would be overkill for the time being.

Thanks

Why not just connect a sound card to your motherboard?

The Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE has a SPDIF connector and it's fairly cheap without being crap. There are several sound cards in the $10-$20 range that should have a connector.
