Hi all,
I need to open a Thinkpad 370C for maintenance - or rather "just"
access disk drive and harddisk. How do I go about it without shredding
all the nice little plastic tabs?

The keyboard opens up for drive access. Open the display fully, now place
one finger of each hand on the display catches on the lower case and your
thumbs just below the keyboard. Pull the catches towards you as if you were
opening the display, but continue to pull on them when you feel the first
"detent", the keyboard will unlatch and allow you to open it with your
thumbs.
