Presario 700 adding memory above 256mb

Hello I've read a few articles that indicate you can go above 256mb on the 700US series laptops. I don't see how thats possible if the buss and bios aren't configured for addition memory above the 256 out of the factory...is that wishfull thinking? Any intelligent thoughts, thanks.

From what I see, Your Laptop only supports a maximum of 384MB RAM.
On top of this, it is really quite dated and should be retired.
Even with the extra 128MB RAM, it will still be old, slow and very out dated.

I would recommend saving your cash for a new budget laptop.
