How popular is the 9600GT. Also especially the galaxy 9600GT because it is just as good as it's 512mb counterparts and it is low profile so it can fit in half height computers. Is it still a popular product on the market today.

The 9600GT is still very popular, especially for those mini-towers. It's beginning to become a little dated but for low-profile it is a perfect choice.

is it still the best low profile card there is today. I've seen they're still quite expensive so if it's possible to get them sold for cheaper then it can attract lots of attention to people with low profile computers and average GPU buyers?

apparently the low profile 9600gt version has a higher clock count than the full profile galaxy 9600gt version. It has a 1800mhz clock count i read?
