Hi I was replacing the motherboard in my Dell dimension 4700. The case form is micro atx so I bought a new board of the same form. I have a 500 watt powerr supply which I believe will work with it. My question is the case going to be fully compatible with the board or am I going to have to purchAse a new one? I read somewhere the front connectors need to be rewired and I couldn't find any info. Any help will be great. Thanks!

Here is my system specs that I am updating to.

ASUS M4A785-M AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Athlon II X4 630 Propus 2.8GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
PC Power and Cooling 500 Watt Dell Compatible Power supply
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
Nvidia Geforce 8800GT Video Card

If the case will work than thats great, willl save me around 50 bucks, but if not, 50 bucks more broke :pt1cable:

Try your old dell case connector. The old board had a 9 pin case connector, which is the same number of pins on many boards. I had to offset my case connector on one board with more than nine pins, leaving some unwired pins off.

How did the upgrade go? I'm thinking of doing something similar.
